SENIOR ADVICE
SAYING GOODBYE
To the staff who help publish our literary magazine every year, The Muse is more than just another class. It's an escape from the stress of school and the expectations of society, and a way for us to find others who enjoy the arts as much as we do. In the hours we spend building our magazine from the ground up, blasting music in our work room, having spontaneous doughnut parties, and laughing our heads off, we become a family - a group of extraordinary misfits who have found their place in a classroom of people who sing the same tune. Every year, when we have to say goodbye to some of our own, it not only breaks our hearts but leaves an empty space in The Muse. They do not, however, entirely leave; they leave their legacies within the hands of their juniors. And so, as our seniors move forward to the next chapter of their life, they bid farewell with words of advice as we trek the very same mountains that they have now surpassed.
To our dear seniors:
Good luck in college - we love you, and we miss you!
